I had something else....

I had something else to post tonight, but my heart is heavy and I can't bear to go on about cookies and homework, when there are more important things happening in my mind.

A dear friend of mine is hurting. You know those best friends that you have that you don't talk to and you need no words to say that you hurt or you want to take their place, or that your heart aches with them? Well it seems as if almost all of my friends that I have that kind of relationship with are hurting or going through things that I have no words for. I love that as I talked to a friend tonight, my noises of "ugh" and "oh" were all she needed to hear to know my heart. 

Sometimes scripture and prayer are all that can heal a heart. When our words and actions fail, our God NEVER does.

"Have compassion on me, Lord, for I am weak.Heal me, Lord, for my bones are in agony."

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail). Psalm 55:22 (AMP)


He only is my Rock and my Salvation; He is my Defense and my Fortress, I shall not be moved. Psalm 62:6 (AMP)


Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. 1 Peter 5:7 (AMP)

The Lord is good, a Strength and Stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows (recognizes, has knowledge of, and understands) those who take refuge and trust in Him. Nahum 1:7 (AMP)

The Lord is good, he will sustain and uphold you, no matter what trials you are facing.
